Early Molly Halloween outfit?

I'm wanting to be able to respond appropriately to this seller, both personally and in the feedback forum. Do you think that there's anyone at American Girl headquarters that keeps information like this? By that I mean that I'm looking for information about whether they had tags like this, in the early years. I haven't heard back from anyone except "Cleopatra" about this, and her tags were not like mine. Any other suggestions on how I could get this information?

Missy K, I don't believe that there's any such thing as a stupid question. :-)

My "Show and Tell" album is in my signature, which shows up only on my first post in any thread. In this thread, my first post is the first post in the thread.

Today I heard from Meg, who got this outfit when it first came out, and she said that her tag was just like the one that I have! [img]biggrin.gif[/img] So I'm concluding that the sweater that I have is not a fake but rather a first edition one from before they switched to the double tags that were doubled-over.

If anyone has anything to add, I'll be glad to hear it.
